Hayes explores Business Survivability through the realities facing nonprofit leaders, where technology, cybersecurity, AI, operational dependencies, and third-party relationships increasingly influence an organization's ability to deliver on its mission. The session moves the conversation beyond cybersecurity as a technical problem and focuses instead on the decisions and dependencies that can quietly create fragility across an organization. Patrick will discuss how leaders can better understand those dependencies, identify where trust and resilience may be weaker than assumed, and make decisions that strengthen the organization's ability to continue operating through disruption and change. The objective is not simply to protect technology. It is to make sure the organization can continue serving the people who depend on it when the unexpected happens. The mission must survive.
